Cannes, France ‐ Apr 16, 2017

2 days daywork on a 37m yacht Castellina. Hannah and Ben were so lovely! Detailed rooms and worked alongside the annoying of annoying South African chick Heather... (roll eyes). Captain Tim drove us home to Antibes, nearly spewing each day with his ridiculous race car-like driving. Epic crew though and enough money now to pay the weeks rent yay! All the while living and job hunting in Antibes. A few highlights: working on super yacht Imernence - scary and ridiculous, it put me off but the aussie girl Emma was really nice. Met a guy Max and had a few drinks with him. Met Caroline.. we all went to the Absinthe bar for an epic night of singalongs and piano to celebrate Hedda getting a job and flying to Greece the next day!

Beautiful (and hard) hike to the top of Eze where a beautiful castle?village looks over the med sea. Cobble stone paths that wound around the village like out of a movie. Hotel gardens below with every animal statue spread out around the grounds you could think of. Spectacular!

A day in Nice to meet Gilles and another yacht agent. Such an amazing city!! Starting the Grand Prix set up.. insane cars everywhere. We also came back for a boat interview a few days later. We went to the Oceangraphique Musuem (average), the Casino, had a wonderful american vegan lunch over looking the yachts and wondered around until our feet hurt so much we had to leave.

After 2 days in Paris, we took the train 6 hours through country side to the SOF to Antibes, one of the biggest super yacht ports in the world where we will start the search for jobs!

Arrived in Paris - Stayed in las Marias in an adorable pent house airbnb apartment! Day 1. I drop sam's iPhone 7 stories to the ground, luckily not hurting anyone! Day Two: We visited the Lourve (apple store for a new phone hehe) and wondered around Paris. At nightfall we head to the Eiffel Tour where we waited an hour in line and submit around 9pm at night. It was magical (however freezing cold) but a dream and tick off that bucket list!
